At Blackwater Training & Consulting, we offer education and training services for our community in Virginia, Co. Cavan. Our goal is to provide support to help our communities to gain the skills they need to succeed.
We provide tailor made training to address the specific learning needs and skill gaps within our community.
We support community groups to secure funding for their projects and initiatives on a local, national and European level.
We work with partner organisations in Ireland and across Europe to access Erasmus+ opportunities.
During 2024, Blackwater Training & Consulting undertook in-depth research and consultation across Cavan and Meath as part of the BEYOND – Building Bridges: Empowering Youth, Nurturing Determination project, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.

From 1st–10th August 2025, a group of talented and enthusiastic participants from Ireland joined creative minds from across Europe in the small village of Kamień, Poland for The Sound Atlas: Sonic Storytelling, and what an inspiring journey it was!
